This entrepreneurship event is one of the many other events planned globally for the celebration of #WomenInTechWeek 2017, addressing different topics including technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, Work-life balance… The event is open to all, women and men!
With the planned workshop(s) and talks, you will get practical tools and tips to help you jump start and/or navigate well your entrepreneurship journey!
Workshop 1: Harness the power of social media as an entrepreneur
Are you confused about how to navigate the crazy online space? Wondering if you need to spend money on advertising or how to turn your social media fans into customers? Then this workshop is for you.
In this 60-minute interactive workshop, Nubi Kay will walk you through developing a plan tailored to your business. He’ll be reviewing Case Studies that examine real-life scenarios that many entrepreneurs encounter while trying to validate their ideas and acquire customers using social media.
You’ll also get the chance to ask those questions about social media for business, that keep you up at night.
This workshop is for entrepreneurs who own start-ups and SMEs looking to learn how to leverage on Social Media to validate their ideas and build an online presence while acquiring users who will pay for products and services offered.

About the speakers:
Zile Sibs: Zile is the Founder of Zile Organics, her own private incubation centre for her crazy ideas. As a proud citizen of the world, she invites you join her on her fantastic journeys of discoveries and experimentation. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree and generations of worldwide knowledge, she has unleashed her mad scientist ways in her home kitchen/laboratory, where she is handcrafting fun & healthy curly hair products using natural and organic ingredients. The products are set for a soft launch end of September.
Tetlanyo Lekalake: Tetlanyo Lekalake is a co-founder and executive committee member of the African Professional Network of Ireland (APNI). She also works as a Process Specialist at Facebook Dublin. Prior to working at Facebook, she worked in the International Marketing team at Jameson Irish Whiskey. Tetlanyo is passionate about the economic development of the African continent and connecting with others to create solutions that positively affect marginalized groups, especially women and people of colour. Her favourite African proverb is, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
Titilope Oladiti: Born in Nigeria and raised in Ireland, she launched the first collection of her clothing brand ‘Empress’ – a clothing brand with a modest twist to contemporary fashion. She also currently works in Audit with PwC and also just completed her final Chartered Accounting exam.
