Nassuna Phyllis is a Co-founder at BPJ Tech Consults, self-motivated, passionate, dedicated Program Director-Technology for Girls/Women at Oysters & Pearls-Uganda and Technovation Regional Ambassador Northern Uganda. Phyllis has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda.

Phyllis is very passionate about technology and innovation, is hardworking, has the ability to learn and transfer knowledge very quickly. Phyllis is confident in interacting freely with young people and colleagues alike. She is a self-motivated person with the ability to undertake and excel in multiple tasks and dedicated with a strong focus in whatever she does and she loves reading.

In the past, she has served as a volunteer promoting STEM programs for primary and secondary school girls with the aim of inspiring the young generation into STEM fields. Phyllis’ preferred tools to promote STEM are Mobile application development, Scratch, Web development, Robotics using microcomputer with Scratch and other programing languages like Python.

According to Phyllis, “I have a grand vision to attract more females into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Computer Science. I believe that more girls in STEM and Computer Science, will mean the entire nation of Uganda (is) transformed.”
