Mona Qalib is a University of Hargeisa graduate, Alumni of VC4Africa and Young African leadership initiative program. Professionally she has worked for over seven years, with six years’ experience in business field and has worked with DHL Dstv and Population services International as marketing manager and network developer.Mona is also youth and social activist Volunteer worked with innovate ventures start-up accelerator as event organizer 2018/2017/2016 and volunteered worked at Inspire group Hargeisa Cultural centre #SaveSomalilandlives #HayaanHaween and member of #SomaliWomenLeadersClub During her free time, she volunteers and she is inspired to help her community while she lately being inspired by Sustainable development goals goal five achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
Currently Mona is Advocator for Centre for Girls empowerment, she has implemented an event #Africa4her that focused in empowering young women entrepreneurs by young African Leadership Initiative Network. Mona is passionate about eradicating the poverty and she lately developed Mataanta Women empowerment Social enterprise for developing ways to invest nomad people and to create business and entrepreneurship for youth and woman, Mona is driven by her commitment to make her country and continent a better world.
